Nybro Glassworks started its activities in 1935. During the 30, 40 and 50's they produced articles such as plates, small plates, glasses and bowls. Although shoe polish cans was a product that was manufactured in large volumes.
During the 60's and 70's they manufactured glass parts for the forging and lamp industry. Knobs and handles for kitchen and bathroom fittings were big sellers during this period.
In the early 80's they began a venture with own designer, developing gift glass. At the same time they formed a collection of sports prices, which among other things resulted in that Nybro Glassworks became the proud supplier to two Olympic Games, Lake Placid 1980 and Sarajevo in 1984.
In the late 80's developed the golf prices in the glass, which was a great success in many parts of the world throughout the 90th century.
